This game will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the CHAMPS Heart of Texas Bowl! We are honored to be hosting the game here in Fort Scott, Kansas!
The CHAMPS Heart of Texas Bowl exists to help school children by promoting education, opportunity, and healthy lifestyles. The CHAMPS Heart of Texas Bowl is an activity of the Communities Helping Americans Mature, Progress, and Succeed (CHAMPS) program. CHAMPS is part of the America's Drug Free Productions, Inc. (ADFP), a 501c3 nonprofit organization. CHAMPS mission is to provide educational information for America's youth on the dangers of alcohol abuse, illicit drug use, bullying, and teen suicide. CHAMPS purpose is to Raise Awareness Support education on the dangers addressed in ADFP's mission. Create Opportunities. Offer college exposure for high school seniors. Connect Students and Colleges. Invite colleges to watch the junior college game and meet high school seniors attending the bowl. The CHAMPS Heart of Texas Bowl is more than a game - it's a chance to shape futures!
