Evening in the Park-Hosted by Gunn Park Trails- July 7 6:30 - 9:30 pm
Please join us for a relaxing evening in beautiful Gunn Park. Bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets to kick back and enjoy the entertainment. Sam & Louie's Italian Food Truck, from Iola, will be onsite, serving their awesome Pizza, Deep Fried Lasagna, and of course their ice cream. (I Scream)
We’ve invited Ryan Bratton, from Bentonville, AR, and Ed Schilling, from St. Joseph, MO, to provide a demonstration of their bicycle acrobatics. These guys perform stunts on their “Trials Bikes” that most of us wouldn’t even try on our feet. They’re spectacular, and here in Gunn Park.
Also, Paul and Leslie, from En Power & Light will be performing next to the lake, in a most serene and peaceful setting. Chill out while listening to their harmonies, and ALL WILL BE WELL, (at least for a little while.)
Gunn Park Trail Volunteers are hosting this event FOR FREE, in conjunction with their 5th Annual Marmaton Massacre Mountain Bike Race, which this year is also the Kansas State Championship.
