MURAL UNVEILING - 1ST KANSAS COLORED INFANTRY MURAL

Be sure to come and join us for the “Free To Serve” (Mural Unveiling) on Friday, Oct 6 from 4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. This will be the unveiling of the new mural display featuring the “1st Kansas Colored Infantry.” This is in honor and tribute of their sacrifice and willingness to serve. The mural will be on display at the north downtown building located at 9 South Main St, near Skubitz Plaza.
Thank you to the Kansas Department of Commerce Office of Rural Prosperity for awarding a grant to make this project possible in addition to generous local donors!
