Store to Donate 100 Percent of Grand Opening Proceeds to YouCanFreeUs Foundation
Fort Scott, KS, December 23, 2020 – Scooter’s Coffee is celebrating the company’s first location in Fort Scott at 2402 South Main Street by giving back to an important cause. On Friday, January 8, the company will host a Grand Opening celebration and donate 100 percent of proceeds from the day to the YouCanFreeUs Foundation, an international human rights organization that is fighting modern slavery around the world through advocacy, rescue and rehabilitation.
The drive-thru location is owned and operated by Culaccino Coffee Company. “As a family, we desire to see the brand’s core values played out through our business as we interact with our staff, our communities and amazing organizations like YouCanFreeUs who are bravely tackling the issue of modern slavery and sex trafficking around the globe,” stated Tracy Bouwens, one of the owners. “We love looking for ways to give back, especially with organizations like this who are leaving a positive mark on society.”
In addition, on January 8, customers who pay or scan for loyalty on the Scooter’s Coffee mobile app will earn 50 bonus smiles!
